This Violin was purchased in December 2008 and looks like new. The Violin was appraised by $5000. This is a great violin for serious advanced student or a professional. The Violin has nice narrow flames all around the ribs, sides, neck, scroll, and back. Two-piece back, and new sound post. The violin has Hill style rosewood pegs with black trim and pin, a nice rosewood hollowed out tailpiece, for extra projection and resonance. It has a dark orange finish and very low action. Super easy to play. I just put on new Larsen violin strings.The tone of the violin is loud and projects nicely. It is not too dark and not too bright.
